Reddust gave a loud sigh as he sat in the clearing. I can't believe I'm stuck with this kid. Of all things,it had to be her... The brown warrior twitched and laid down on his stomach. He set his head in his paws gently.

Reddust lifted his head when his apprentice came. He stood up and shook his pelt. Scrattering rocks around. "Sure. Whatever. Lest see what you can do." The brute bunched up his muscles. Redy for whatever was throw at him.

Dewpaw nodded. Fighting was her specialty but she knew she would never win. Her mentor was a warrior, and a very good one, no doubt. Quickly circling her mentor, and kicking up dust in the process, she lunges at him, lightly bringing her paw across Reddust's throat in a slashing motion. Quickly running to the nearest tree she jumped on the side of it and ran back at her mentor, her legs a blur of motion which quickly died down as she had low stamina. She pounced at him as an attempt to jump on top of her mentor.

Reddust shut his eys when the dust came up. He heard her come forward and jumped back. Heh...so this half-blood's not as dumb as I though. Ge shook his head and opened his eyes again. He looked up,and was struck to the ground by Dewpaw.

Getting off of her mentor Dewpaw shook the dirt off her pelt while smiling."I made that up... and that's really all I know besides a few basic moves. Did I do good?" the rather large apprentice asked. A new ambition shone in her amber eyes as she waited for Reddusts response. Right now she wanted to make a friend out of this warrior; even if he was cold and a wee bit harsh, really.

Reddust sat up and flipped the hair out of his face with the turn of his head. "Yeah..good. Bad part is they can dodge both. You might land with your face in the dust." The brown warrior had a straight face on. Silent and bored,he flicked his tail.

"They can dodge anything you toss at them if your not quick enough. The bad part is if your stronger you cant be that swift." Dewpaw said, quickly defending herself. Fur bristling as it itched to fight she leaped at her mentor, claws unseathed. She was determined to make herself learn through battling and not those oh so boring lectures mentors gave apprentices. "Stealth is the warriors greatest weapon," she reminded herself quietly.

Reddust gave a growl when she let herself at him. He used his jaw,and closed it down on his apprentice's paw. Not hard,but with enough force to hold onto it. He then tossed his head back. Aiming to hit her hard into the ground. You need not just to learn by violence...You blockhead.

Letting out a yelp as Reddust threw her to the ground hard. Getting up, her fur bristling in anger, she let out a ferocious snarl. Looking where shed supposedly strike next she launched her self onto the other side of Reddust, ramming him to the ground. Her eyes narrowed she got off him as she allowed for her fur to stand on-end.

Reddust was hit to the ground. The wind was knocked out of him,but he easily recovered. He sat up and shook his pelt. Dust flew up. "...Dewpaw,calm down. Don't let your emotions get the better of you when you fight." He felt like just yelling at the white apprentice,but that wouldn't help even a smidge.
